Puppy Love

Ella loves Jake...that is what I call puppy love!

On January 14th, David had surgery to reset his broken nose. He was confused and agitated when coming out of the anesthetic so the nurse brought me back to help calm him. He asked me many times where he was and I had to keep telling him. Then he started telling me how much he loved me and I heard that many times over. That was actually pretty fun, until the nurse said "don't worry, he won't remember anything he says." Well, I called Steven to let him know that we would be coming home soon and David said he wanted to talk to his Dad. I told him we'd be home soon and he could talk then. Then, I asked him what he wanted to say to his dad. He said "I just wanted to tell him that I love him". So sweet! I made the mistake of telling the other kids, so now David has to live with "David, I love you man!" every day several times a day. I keep telling him to look for the positive in this. We really do love you David!
